Meet Sara.

My name is Sara Turner. So thrilled that you found your way to this space. Let me tell you about me.
I am a Warrior Woman—by birth and by reclamation. Many jobs, roles, and experiences have led me to this truth. I was born and raised in Yonkers, New York, but have been a Georgia Peach for almost twenty years. I currently live in Smyrna, Georgia as a proud Townie with my husband Josh, my three children: Aletheia (16), Noah (14), Nava (12), and our dogs Jeezy and Foxy Brown. My most cherished roles are wife, mother, pastor, artist, and learner. I love to exercise, read, and sit in the quiet. I am thrilled to be the founder of this organization, but I won’t quit my day job (at The Aperio, a leadership development company) just yet. Would love to meet you as well! Email me here.

A Warrior Women does her greatest training, by being alone with herself. Then she can out into the world, to offer some of who she is. She does not offer it all, but she gives graciously, generously, and gratefully for the flourishing of her community.

Meet Julia

Julia been taking photos ever since she begged her parents for disposable cameras when she was little, and she has been a professional photographer for the past ten years. Julia is married to an amazing filmmaker named Chris and they have two young children: Lisetta and Leon. They live in a little home outside of Atlanta, and love to travel the country and the world for new adventures and story-capturing opportunities.

Julia’s love for photography comes from her desire to help women feel beautiful, especially in front of a camera. Julia has seen first hand the insecurity girls and women feel about their bodies in front of a camera. Her goal is to create a comfortable, encouraging environment where women can discover what helps them feel most beautiful in front of the camera.
